class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Haven of Hope Christian Service (HOHCS) launched the &#8216;Chinese-Western Medicine Based Rehabilitation&#8217; programme in 2017. This programme tailors treatment plans to the needs and rehabilitation stages of stroke and chronic pain patients, providing comprehensive integrated treatment solutions through a multidisciplinary team of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. These treatments are tailored to the patient&#8217;s individual needs, offering services such as acupuncture, massage therapy, rehabilitation exercises, etc. Physicians and therapists may also recommend adjustments to the patient&#8217;s lifestyle, combining internal and external treatments to enhance the effectiveness of the therapy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0a99a18 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0a99a18\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"> Beneficiary Story<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9214e1b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9214e1b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Ms. Woo suffered from a lumbar spine injury several years ago, causing severe pain that significantly impaired her mobility and even left her unable to walk. She sought medical treatment everywhere, but her condition showed no significant improvement, leading to both physical and mental exhaustion. She recalled that during the period of limited mobility, her mood was also at a low point, often unwilling to go out and preferring to stay confined at home. In recent years, Ms. Woo participated in HOHCS&#8217;s Chinese and Western Medicine Based Rehabilitation programme. After undergoing the treatment, her legs improved significantly in a short period of time, allowing her to walk independently and even climb stairs with ease. She recalled how her daily life was severely affected during episodes of pain. For example, during bathing, her inability to bend her body made it difficult to thoroughly clean her feet. However, after joining the programme, she discovered she could gradually regain the ability to perform this seemingly simple task. She felt overjoyed, not only because her legs had improved but also because she sensed her life was gradually returning to normal.
